The piece has evolved from simple line drawing. leaves have been coloured to look weathered and dead.
This series was based around recreating simple and delicate line drawings of wild grasses in metal in a way that kept the fragility and vulnerability of the grass and flowers.

Brass thorns add a different element to this piece, it extends upwards suggesting growth and strength
